Medyka, Village frontalier en Basses-Carpates, Pologne
Le village s'étend le long de la frontière polono-ukrainienne, avec des zones résidentielles entourant les bâtiments administratifs centraux.
L'établissement s'est développé autour d'un château du XIVe siècle, agrandi par Piotr Kmita Sobieński en 1542.
L'église catholique en bois de Saint Pierre et Paul, construite en 1607, constitue une structure religieuse centrale.
Le village dispose de connexions de transport, notamment un passage frontalier routier majeur et une ligne ferroviaire vers l'Ukraine.
Gwalbert Pawlikowski a établi la première école d'horticulture du Royaume de Galicie dans son domaine en 1830.
